LCEC Celebrates 20 Years of Sponsoring Marco Island Annual House and Business Decorating Contest

LCEC is proud to celebrate its 20th year of being the premiere sponsor of the Marco Island Annual House and Business Decorating Contest. “When the event chairman, Dave Rice, contacted LCEC 20 years ago about starting this event, we knew we wanted to be involved. We are extremely honored to have been sponsoring this event since its inception,” LCEC Key Account Executive Tricia Dorn said. “This event epitomizes the spirit of Christmas and brings much joy to the residents of Marco Island and all those who attend the events that surround the House and Business Decorating Contest,” Dorn said.

LCEC CEO Dennie Hamilton and Key Account Executive Tricia Dorn will be in attendance this year to take part in the festivities and to help in the presentation of a $250 check and yard sign to the winner of the house decorating contest. Winner of the house decoration contest will be announced Saturday, December 17 and the winner of the business decoration contest will be announced Sunday, December 18.

“LCEC’s generous support since the contest begun 20 years ago has insured its continuation. The event committee utilizes the funds as good financial stewards in celebration of the Christmas Holiday Season for the betterment of the citizens of Marco Island,” Committee Chairperson Dave Rice said. LCEC is extremely proud to sponsor this event which lights up the holidays for residents and visitors alike, and looks forward to year 21!
