Due to widespread outages and damage caused by Hurricane Irma, LCEC is following its restoration plan to restore power to our customers. At this time, the earliest date available to request starting or stopping service is October 2. To prevent usage until this date at the address where you are stopping, please turn off the main breaker.

To transfer service to a different address, please fill out the following form.

Start Service Fees:

A $30 start-service fee will be charged to connect or transfer service. For additional information about fees and charges, click here.

Deposit:

If your account currently has a deposit, the deposit amount may be adjusted. Find out more about deposits.

Otherwise, please turn off the main breaker when you leave. If the breaker remains on, or if we are unable to access your meter and unable to contact you, you will continue to be responsible for the electricity used at this address and you will be billed accordingly.
