Request a Tree Trimming

LCEC will assess tree trimming requests and assign work to our qualified tree care contractors if the situation meets our criteria for maintaining safety and reliability.  LCEC will maintain vegetation around primary lines if there is evidence of contact or the potential to impact service reliability. LCEC will maintain the area around secondary lines and streetlight lines only if damage is imminent to LCEC facilities. Click here for more information.

LCEC does not maintain trees from the customer service drop (line from the transformer to your house). Never attempt to prune or maintain vegetation near electrical wires or remove branches that are touching power lines. Only line clearance qualified arborists should maintain trees growing near power lines.

If you have trees or vegetation that meets the above criteria for tree work, please complete the form below.

Note: Any dangerous condition with the power lines should be reported to LCEC by calling 239-656-2300 or 800-282-1643. If you see a person that has come in contact with the power line, call 911 immediately.

If you are currently without power, please call the LCEC Customer Care Center immediately at 800-599-2356 or 239-656-2300.

LCEC will respond to all customer requests to determine if the trees in question qualify for off-cycle maintenance. If your request meets the criteria stated above, simply fill out the form below.
