A Message from our CEO
The cooperative business model is all about people coming together to improve the quality of life. Preparing the workforce to serve members in the most reliable, effective, efficient, and cost-effective manner has been part of everyday business at LCEC for over 80 years. The same vision remains clear today; to deliver the power that energizes our community. LCEC grows stronger and accomplishes a great deal with each passing year. We remain true to our home-grown roots while building upon the electric system that served the first customers in 1940. None of this happens without the drive, spirit and passion of the people who work daily at LCEC and bring light to people’s lives. We work hard, we give back to the community, and we enjoy our work along the way.
