Wade Purvis

District 6 – Immokalee, Ave Maria

Mr. Purvis has served on the Board since 2025. He and his wife, Karen, reside in Immokalee and have been LCEC members for 11 years. Mr. Purvis has been a resident of Collier County for 36 years.

Mr. Purvis is the owner, president, and general manager of Purvis Farms in Immokalee. He was named the 2023 Florida Farm Bureau State Farmer of the Year. His previous experience includes serving as vice president and general manager of Florida Specialties, general manager of Pacific Collier Fresh, Inc., and owner and president of A Gator Septic Service. Mr. Purvis holds a bachelor’s degree in business-citrus from Florida Southern College.

Community Service: Board member, University of Florida IFAS Foundation; board member, Collier County Farm Bureau; member, Florida Farm Bureau Federation State Advisory Committee of Agricultural Policy; board member, Collier County Fire District Citizens Advisory Board; and panel member, Leadership Collier Agricultural Panel.
