North Fort Myers, Fla., July 8, 2013 – A group of LCEC employees are actively working to receive the title of “Biggest Loser X.” In the first nine biggest loser-themed weight loss challenges that LCEC hosted, employees lost a combined total of 1,224 pounds! To participate, employees pay a fee which includes access to the LCEC employee fitness center for the 12 weeks of the Biggest Loser program. The entry fees are then pooled and awarded to the three employees or teams with the highest percentage weight loss. Encouraging participation in fun and interesting programs such as the Biggest Loser is just one way LCEC promotes a healthy lifestyle for employees. LCEC also has a 10,000 Steps program, after-work fitness boot camp, healthy snack choices and a Power Pac run club.
