LCEC Receives NSC Occupational Excellence Achievement Award

LCEC values safety as everyone’s responsibility. This core value helped earn LCEC the National Safety Council (NSC) Occupational Excellence Achievement Award. The award honors LCEC’s employees who are diligent in working safely each and every day.

For eligibility, LCEC had to meet criteria set forth by the NSC. The award recognizes companies, and/or facilities that have reported injuries and illnesses that involved days away from work (lost time), equal to or less than 50 percent of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) rating for their specific industry code (NAICS), and have had no fatalities during the previous calendar year.

About the National Safety Council:

The National Safety Council is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save lives by preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes and communities and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy. NSC advances this mission by partnering with businesses, government agencies, elected officials and the public to make an impact where the most preventable injuries and deaths occur, in areas such as distracted driving, teen driving, workplace safety, and beyond the workplace, particularly in and near our homes.
