Work Request Introduction
  The LCEC Work Request Status tool provides a real-time update on the status of any job in our work management system.  To check the status of a Work Request:

1) In the ‘Search by’ dropdown select how you want to search for the Work Request
  • Work Request Number - Searches by Work Request number (eg. 168000)
  • Partial Address – Searches by the address for the Work Request (eg. 1234 Main)
  • Account Number – Searches by the customer account number (eg. 123456)
2) Enter the search string in the ‘Enter search here’ field
  • Please note: You must enter at least 3 letters or numbers to begin a search.
  • If searching by ‘Work Request’ number or ‘Account Number’ the search string entered must be an exact match
  • If searching by ‘Partial Address’ any part of the address can be entered (no need to use wildcards as the search will return any address that contains the search string entered)
3) Click on the ‘Search’ button to return the Work Requests that match your search criteria
  • A table containing all Work Requests that match the search criteria will be displayed
4) Click on the Work Request number in the search table to view the current status for that Work Request
  • Date Entered: The date that the Work Request was created.
  • Type: General category for the type of job
  • Classification: More specific description of job
  • Address: Address of the job site
  • Government Inspection Required? Indicates if a government inspection is required for this Work Request Type/Classification
  • Government Inspection Received? Indicates if the inspection has been received by LCEC (job cannot be scheduled until the inspection is received)
  • Target Schedule Completion Date: If an LCEC Service Standard is defined for this job type, then the service standard date is displayed. If there is no service standard for the job type, then the date represents the scheduled completion date based on the work schedule defined in the work management system
  • Construction Completion Date: Date the job is completed
  • Delayed by Customer? Job cannot be scheduled/worked because of a customer delay. If ‘Prior Delay’ is displayed then the job had previously been delayed
  • Delay reason: Reason for the delay
5) While on the Work Request status results, a new search can be performed by starting over at step one
  • If your original search returned more than one Work Request and you would like to view the status for a different Work Request, click on the browser’s back arrow to return to the list of Work Requests
